9.4 Privacy and retention

Path: Administration > Privacy and Retention. The policy defines retention periods for raw and historical data, the level of personal data minimization, and legal hold. Deletion goes through preview and audit and respects legal hold; provenance and audit history remain immutable.

1. Set retention days for raw and historical data and the personal data minimization level.

2. Enable legal hold only when a formal reason prevents deletion.

3. Save the policy.

4. Use deletion preview and decide whether an export is needed first.

5. Review the log, scope, time limit, and state before any authorized execution.
